1946: Choi, Sung-Doo established Korea Recording Company at Choong Moo Ro 1950: Because of the Korean War (on June 25th of 1950), all the implements were destroyed. 1955: By Choi, Sung-Doo's younger brother named Choi, Sung-Lak, a new recording studio was established at the same place. 1956: Inducted VMS Disk Mastering Lathe from Neumann Company of Germany, and developed SP to LP, LP to Hi-Fi LP ,and 10' LP tp 12' LP. 1965: Studio moved to Jang-Choong Dong and renamed it as Jang-Choong Studio. 1966: Early development of Stereo Recording Technology, and Stereo Cutting system in Korea. 1969: Started recording 4 Channel Multi-Track. |

1970: Our Studio was the first one that used a national loan, to induct the Neumann NMS 70 Variable Pitch Cutting System. 1975: Studio Moved to Echon-Dong where it's now locating at, and renamed it as Seoul Studio. 1976: Seoul Studio was the first one in Korea to use 16 Channel Multi-Track for the recording. 1980: The first one in Korea to use 24 Channel Multi-Track for the recording. 1984: The first one to Induct Solid State Logic Console, in Korea. 1986: Recorded the Playback music, and an opening and ending music for the 10th Seoul Asian Game. 1988: The first one in Korea to use Digital 32 Channel Multi-Track. Recorded the ceremony music, an opening and ending music and the national anthem of 160 nations for the 24th Olympic which was held in Korea. 1993: Started Pre-Mastering. 1995: Inducted Hard-Disk WorkStation MTR. 1998: Upgraded Mastering Room System and open the Studio D. |
